Lodgepole Pine from the Pacific Northwest is a very consistent wood. It dries straight and true and accepts a treat better than other post and pole material. Each tree is peeled to allow for proper drying and acceptance of treatment. Each piece is dried before treated, to insure the proper penetration and retention of the solution into the wood. The CCA treatment is applied by both pressure and vacuum.
