Because trellises should be constructed for long term use (possibly outlast the life of vines and supporting more than one planting), we offer high-tensile wire and lodge pole pine pressure treated posts that will perform well with minimum of maintenance. To get a good return on investment, the vintner must select a system that will last. This may mean spending more on the initial installation, but results in a system which will perform for years. During that time the trellis can pay for itself with increased production and lower operating costs; so, in the long run, a high-tensile wire trellis does not cost - it pays. Because of the longevity of these products, the grower can plan for decades ahead.
