The lighting used in the interior of the facility utilizes 25 watt white lights, which provide the same Lumens as a 100-watt bulb, but using less energy. All lighting is sealed in water & dust proof plastic receptacles, no glass is used. |

 Slotted concrete floor panels are used throughout the building. Rubber slat guards can be inserted in areas where smaller pigs may be kept. |
 Independent temperature sensors located throughout the building monitor and adjust the climate inside by adding heat, or adjusting air-flow. Here is an example of a heated pen area for piglets, which keeps them confined and warm as needed. Heater units are located throughout the building to offer futher temperature control. |

Large furnaces can take the chill out of the air in the winter months, and are a supplemental heat source to the radiant heat units.
