Deerhandler™

The Deerhandler™ chutes are the most efficient deer chutes on the market today. Designed for easy of maintenance and cleaning, the new chutes have the same great ease of use that you've come to expect. In order to get the greatest benefit from your chute, you must have a good system to get your animals to the chute and we have an excellent tunnel system for that purpose.

The Deerhandler™ chute now is made in 3 styles:

The Papa

The Papa is the king of deer chutes with an inside width of 36” for the antlers. The 22” wide bottom half lets the handler stand right next to the deer.

Over head bi-fold doors are spring loaded
Palpation cage can be entered from either side
Both sides have semen collecting doors also allowing access to legs & feet
Full width drop floor with rubber mat is operated by a pull cable or side lever trip

The Mama

The Standard or Mama chute is a full-sized chute with an inside width of 29” allows approximately 75% of deer exposure. Safe, fa st, and efficient for the operator and the animal tagging, velveting, sexing, inseminating, legwork, and TB testing is made easy by good access from the front, bottom, sides and back

The Junior

The Deerhandler™ Junior has all of the features of the Papa except there is no palpation cage. The Junior is ideal for the producer who has a system already in place and wants to upgrade the chute or the producer that wants to construct his own system while having a state-of-the-art chute.

The Tunnels

Pictured is a 4-tunnel system consisting of (left to right) a tunnel, a corner tunnel, a ramp tunnel, and a platform section (note that it is raised to the level of the deerhandler™ chute). The first tunnel has guillotine gates on each end while the other sections are divided by sliding gates. The configuration of the tunnel system will dictate the placement of slider or guillotine gates.
